Family Empowerment Program
- Help parents solve tough issues
- Provide assistance with organization,
communication and social skills
- Assist with school-related issues
- Work together with families to develop and
implement strategies to reduce out-of-home
placements
The ultimate goal of the Family Empowerment Program is to keep the youth
in the home and out of placement. The Family Empowerment Program
also engages all family members in a team-approach, provides parents
with the skills and resources necessary for them to independently address
the behaviors of their children and decreases the rate of recidivism for
adjudicated youth.
